Cookie Policy

Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how Connectee OU (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on connectee.io (the “Site”). We are registered in Estonia, (company code 14891451).

What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or internet enabled device by websites in order to add functions to the site or to help the website work better. Sometimes cookies are necessary to be used for the basic functioning of your site, and sometimes they can be used to identify your computer or internet device to our website, or to other websites. This may allow us to improve the way we work, such as remembering preferences expressed by you, or tracking your use of a website for statistical analysis and advertising.

First Party/Third Party
Cookies may be categorised as either first party or third party cookies. In general, a cookie set by your own website, i.e., the host domain, is a first‑party cookie. A third‑party cookie is one set by a domain other than the one the user is visiting, i.e., a domain other than the one they can see in their address bar.

Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the Site you will see a banner asking you to ‘Accept all’ and ‘Reject all’ are presented with equal prominence. Access to the site is not conditioned on consenting to non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies are blocked until you make a positive choice. You can revisit your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

Global Privacy Control / “Do Not Track”
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, we treat a valid GPC/DNT signal as an opt-out of non-essential cookies and store that choice in your consent preferences for that browser until you change it.

International transfers
Some third-party providers (e.g., Google, X, Reddit, Microsoft) may process data in third countries. We transfer data only to providers that are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where not certified, are bound by EU Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.

Retention
Cookies last no longer than necessary for the purpose stated in the table above. Analytics event-level data is automatically deleted or irreversibly anonymised after 25 months. Pseudonymised aggregated reports may be retained for up to five years for audit purposes.

Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Under GDPR you may also request access, erasure, portability, restriction or objection regarding your personal data processed via cookies. Contact details are below.
